Mexico- part three

We loved everyday of our trip.  We would eat at a beautiful buffet with breakfast.  Luke loved the french toast and occasional doughnut.  Eva loved the variety of treat beverages from pineapple juice to chocolate milk and yogurt.  Dave would usually have his omelet made to order and he would bring me a champagne to go with my breakfast.  We would eat lunch in an open air restaurant by the pool.  For dinner you could choose to eat at a fancier restaurant and we had Mexican, Italian, and Steak.
Everyday we also went to the sports center for mini-golf, shuffle board, tennis, and soccer.  In the afternoon while Hudson was napping we would read books in the lobby.  Eva would usually order a strawberry daiquiri.  One of the evenings Eva and I watched a dance performance after the boys were in bed.

The beach is a great place to enjoy the presence of ones that you love.  Dave and I could reflect and be thankful for all we have while the kids played.  The kids loved building sand castles, moats, and rivers.  We also did some paddle boating.  Hudson enjoyed playing at the beach for the first time.  Vamos a la playa.

I have been excited to take a family trip ever since I was pregnant with Hudson. I love being with my family and it is such a treat to be with them and not have to cook, clean, or work.  (After a few days I did want to start helping the housekeeping because I am not used to being served in that way.)  We thought a close trip to Rivera Maya Mexico would be a good idea.  The kids loved the airplane ride and the van ride to the hotel. The hotel was the most beautiful one we have been to.  Everything from the lobby to the walking paths was exquisite.  Everyday we went to the beach and pool and the weather and water was perfect.

Luke and Hudson are in the salt water pool where the ocean flows in and out and there is a sand floor.

The resort had two pool areas so were stopped at the other pool on the walk home from the salt water pool.

The kids loved the 5 water slides in the kid pool.  Luke and Eva played together great.
