Cozy Nook

We love getting our pumpkins at Cozy Nook.  The kids run from pumpkin to pumpkin surprised that they look just as they did last year.  They love the biggest and the littlest.  They love to visit the small calf in the barn.  It is precious to watch them here year after year.

This year they were trying to make the tractor operate at top speed.  One would shift while the other would steer.

Happy Birthday Eva

Eva has been planning her birthday party for 353 days.  She has been so excited talking about every girl that she wanted to invite.  We had her party at Kids in Motion and everyone had a great time.

We also got to celebrate with the cousins.  Andrew, Bennett, and Boden also have fall birthdays so we went on a hike at Lapham Peak and out to eat at the Delafield Brewhouse.

Bennett recieved his "Make a Wish."  He will be going to Spain to meet Messi, the world's top soccer player.  The Make a Wish staff gave Bennett balloons and the cake below to celebrate.  They leave for their trip next week.  We are proud of you Bennett.

Bennett loves Hudson and we love that they kind of look like brothers.  Bennetts hair is super cute growing back.

Camp Swamp Fox

From Luke:
My dad and I went to Camp Long Lake for cub scouts.  In the pictures me and Caleb are going from activities to have free time.

We did rope making, BB guns, archery, bottle rockets, free time, kickball, wood project, wall climbing, and games.  It was cold on Sunday morning, it was 31 degrees Fahrenheit when we woke up in our tent.  I had a mummy sleeping bag and cot so I kept warm.

Happy 70th Birthday

We celebrated Jan's Birthday 2 months late and still had great weather.  We had all the family in one place at the same time.  We are so thankful for the family we have.

What a way to spend the day

Fall is so beautiful because there is magic in the air during perfect moments like these.  We enjoyed the apple orchard on a day when the apples were perfectly ripe.  The kids loved getting the apples right off the tree and eating them.  Of course they always taste better right from mother nature.  The kids asked if we could go back every week.

On a different week end we hiked at Devils Lake when the first leaves were just starting to turn yellow.  It is such a beautiful place and the kids had a great time hiking.
