We had a great time this year dying eggs and hunting for eggs and baskets. Luke is still saving up for his trip to Australia so he is going to use some of the money from his Easter eggs for his trip. Eva got everything from swimsuits, hair accessories, fun spring clothes, twirling ribbon, umbrella and a hello kitty baseball bat.

Hudson is Four Months
Some say the third child may not get as much love and attention as a first born. In our family Hudson gets pleanty of love and attention. We are so glad he is healthy and growing. Luke and Eva do a great job giving him extra love. Luke has done a great job holding him and helping him. He calls him the cutest baby in the whole world. Eva can best be identified with Miss Piggie and her love for Kermit. She will kiss him multiple times and can not hold back her joy. She has the signature squeal as she hugs him and gets close to him. She says she loves him because he is "so kissy."

6 friends bowling to celebrate Seven
Luke has been wanting to go bowling with his friends for over one year. He has been so excited waiting for his 7 year old bowling birthday party. He would skip around the house and talk about everything that was going to happen. He couldn't wait to address the invites and set the table with his Angry Bird accessories.
Luke's Birthday is on Easter this year (March 31st) which makes it hard to schedule a party. So on St. Patricks Day, two weeks before his actual birthday, we celebrated at Sussex Bowl with his friends from his first grade class.

UW-Madison Physics Day
Luke is always wondering about something related to physics. He asks about the hottest temperatures (in nuclear fusion), the fastest particles, the lightest elements, largest galaxyies, characteristics of star explosions, or planet statistics. He got to spend his first day at college and learn more about physics. Papa invited us to the University of Wisconsin "Wonders of Physics" Day. He was so excited just to sit in a desk a "colleger" would sit in.
We attended a large lecture with many demonstrations on motion, heat, sound, electricity, magnetism, and light. The professors pretended they were living on Mars. They each had a special alien character and each experiment involved an aspect of the environment on Mars. He liked this because he has already had me calculate what his weight would be on various planets (along with the weight of Eva, Hudson, and his favorite stuffed animals).
Some of Luke's favorite experiments were methane bubbles that were lit on fire, ping pong ball bazooka piercing 3 soda can's, levitating magnets, and a liquid nitrogen cannon.
