Mountian Rivers
There is nothing like a beautiful mountian river for wading and rock collecting. We came to this picnic area twice and enjoyed playing in the river. We kept a few rocks for souvenirs.
Here is a historic home from the Pioneer Days. The family raised 9 children in this home.
We did not take any pictures of the indoor pool, outdoor pool, or hot tub. We loved our two bedroom condo to call home every night. We watched the fireworks every night and the kids even slept in until 7:30 most days.
Ziplining
Somethings you will never forget. Ziplining as a family is one of them. Luke loved it. He now wants to go the neighbor's house by zip line. Eva also did great. Hudson was one of the youngest there was. We did a 500 foot zip line and then 1,250 foot and then 1,300 feet that even went through a barn. Luke and Eva were so sweet cheering on Hudson.

First time horseback riding
Happy Trails from Jayell Ranch. Everyone rode a horse for the first time. Eva rode Ginger. Luke rode Soks. Hudson and I rode King. Dave rode Doc. Eva got in some trotting time on her horse as well. The hour long trail ride through the mountains was scenic. After the trail ride Eva asked why her horse was not white with a golden tail and asked why we did not ride through fields of flowers and butterflies. Everyone had a great time.
Next we played 36 holes of mini-golf. Hudson did a bocce ball version. In this first picture Eva was dancing to her pom pom routine song and golfing at the same time.
Great Smokey Mountians
I love vacations. Luke loves vacations. Eva loves vacations. Huson loves vacations. Dave loves vacations. We had a new adventure everyday. We started of with a 9.5 hour ride to Indy and then a 8 hour ride to Gaitlanburg. First we started with some pipe cleaner art.
Hudson is watching one of our many DVDs for the trip.
The first day we rode the Ober tram in Gaitlanburg up to the top of the mountain. There we did some rides and a mountain coaster.
Our first hike was to Laurel Falls.
