Sleeping Bear Dunes

You can't go wrong with beautiful water and sand. The kids loved exploring all the elements of Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also stopped in Traverse City for a little shopping. We bought fresh Michigan Peaches. We enjoyed the sunset every night.

 Hudson was a little sad that he did not get a ring like Eva at the Blacksmith.

 Thanks to daddy, Hudson now has his own horse shoe nail ring.

Macinac Island

Well, it was a little windy getting to Mackinac Island but we made it. Dave talked to bike shop owner into a good deal to rent bikes for the day. I loved biking by all the Victorian homes and bed and breakfasts on the island. The kids loved Sadie's Ice Cream at the Grand Hotel.
