A Week at Sandy Beach

Wow, what a great time together at the lake.  We swam, biked, played, kayaked, canoed, paddle boarded, and watched some amazing sunsets every day.  It was fun to watch the kids have so much fun together. 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fourth of July

We had perfect weather this July.  We hosted friends from Minneapolis and their four children.  We went to the a parade with friends.  We went to a party on a lake with family and friends.  We finished the day with fireworks over the lake.  It was the first time that we watched fireworks in 7 years.  It was wonderful anticipating the fireworks as it got dark, wondering where they would be coming from and what they would look like.  I held Eva and Dave held Hudson as he slept with ear muffs on.  I loved holding her as she cheered for her favorite fireworks.  We also spent some time swimming in our pool the next day... even Hudson.
