Every day is hard without Dave. I do not need an anniversary to remember his significance, our love, or how wonderful he was. To give the day meaning family met at the grave site. Jackie, Julie, and Bryce prayed for the kids and our future. We enjoyed lunch together. I shared a two page letter of a thank you to Dave. His wisdom and blessing go on long past his life. I also created a daddy daughter dance to "Dance like your Daddy." I also created a list of thank yous as well as a list of accomplishments.
Everything in me still wants things to change. Dave was wonderful in every way. I have found the strength I have needed and I am so thankful for the ability to complete each day and care for the kids.
