Time goes faster every year so I better stop complaining about Luke turning six. I love him so much. He is getting to be quite a young man and still can laugh and play like a young child. He has loved playing with his friends and cousins doing all sorts of things adults would never do. He can problem solve and brainstorm to fix just about any problem. He has been more interested in space. He talks about it to his friends on the bus ride home. He also has done his friends homework for them on the bus. He wishes he would grow and inch a day, 5 pounds a day, and one shoe size a day. One of the things he wanted to do on his birthday was to go and measure his shoe size. He was disappointed to hear he was still 13, not size 1 like he wanted to be. He can make Eva laugh any time.
Luke always helps make his cake every year.Luke had a baseball theme this year and we got him a glove, bat, ball. His Aunt and Uncle got him a tee. Dave's cousins got him bases.
Here is Luke opening his beanbag chair that all the kids jumped on together once it was out of the package.
We got to stay in a hotel on Luke's birthday and the kids had a great time at the pool. Here is Eva swimming with three rings.
Luke also got a new bike. He wanted to call it the "rescue bike" because it goes so fast.
