Camping part two

 Good bye dirty face.
 Good bye dirty feet.

Dune Camping 1

We camped at Kohler Andre State Park and enjoyed the beautiful dunes and good friends.  These pictures make everything look especially clean compared to real life.  Sand was everywhere.  We had 37 adults and 41 kids and only one injury which was a stick through the foot.  It is always a bonding experience.  We also had some wild nightlife.  We had 2-3 raccoons at our site at one time and they were not scared of anything we did to try to scare them away.  We also had some crying kids the first night who must have missed their real bed.  Overall it was quite a success.

More pictures to come on post two.  I am at the limit of allowable pictures.

Eva Smiling

Eva loves to smile.  She can make any heart jump by her smile.  She smiled at 6 days old and has not stopped since.  Similar to Luke's photos, I had to smile of how many cute expressions were on one download of photos.  Eva gives hugs and kisses to my leg, back, stomach, arm, tummy, Luke's head, nose, and cheek.  Last time I was at the bank getting a large cashier's check made to close on our refinance she kissed each of my ten toes twice while the teller validated the check.  She kisses the characters she likes in all of her books.  One of the main reasons she gets in trouble is when she kisses Luke and he does not want to be kissed.  I don't know if this is normal girl behavior, but it sure is sweet.

Luke Running

Luke has always loved to run.  I just had to laugh with this many running photos on one set of downloaded photos.  He has been watching the Olympic track trials and comparing his 100m time of 18 seconds to the Olympic athletes.  He is always right on with his fractions since the best got just half of his time, 9 seconds.  Luke is also calculating what age he will be and what distance he can run and how fast.  Then as we drive he will look at the odometer and set goals for himself to do when he is older.  For example, he wants to run to Pewaukee Beach which is just over 4 miles when he is 16.  Luke repeatedly asks to go to the Arrowhead track and run.  He also asks to just drive by.  We took him and his cousin to Arrowhead in the track photo below.
